MERRIMACK
- A Goffstown man is being charged with negligent homicide in a drunk-driving crash on September 29th.

Jason Lambert, 35, of 72 Peppermint St., was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after the Sept. 29 crash, which killed Edward Bailey, 63, of Merrimack.

Police said Lambert was driving his pickup truck north in the southbound lanes of Interstate 293 in Bedford, near the Route 101 interchange, at 12:22 a.m. when he struck Bailey's car. Bailey, a teacher at Nashua North High School, died a few hours later.

Lambert entered no plea to each of the felony charges in Merrimack District Court Wednesday; he will now face the charges in Hillsborough County Superior Court. Bail was set at $10,000 for each charge.
