Arrest made in theft of storm drain grates
GOFFSTOWN - Police arrested a Hooksett man yesterday after a Goffstown resident in the Shirley Hill Road area reported seeing someone remove a storm drain cover and drive off with it.

Rafal Przysliwski, 26, of 16 Andrea St. was arrested by Officer Timothy Chabot, who stopped him as he was on his way to the call. Przysliwski is charged with receiving stolen property, theft, reckless conduct, and reckless operation.

At the time of the arrest, Chabot noticed two storm grates in one of the passenger seats of the suspect's car. In all, police found six in the car.

Przysliwski is being held on $25,000 cash bail at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections and will be arraigned in Goffstown District Court today.

The storm grate theft follows a rash of similar incidents in the towns of Epsom and Pembroke last week. Manchester authorities also charged two men last week with removing sewer covers from a construction site.

Goffstown police said they were working with police agencies from other towns on the investigation.
