Local woman & children hurt in crash

WEARE - A Weare man was charged after a crash in Weare sent five people to the hospital.

Police were called to River Road, just south of Colby Road, at about 5 p.m. Saturday for a two-vehicle crash.

Officers said a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo driven by Robert Hatstat, 48, crossed the center line and crashed into an oncoming 2004 Ford Explorer.

Police identified the driver of the Explorer as Anastasia Wood, 18, of Goffstown. Wood had two 13-year-olds and a 10-year-old in the vehicle.

All four people in the Explorer were taken to Elliott Hospital in Manchester with non-life threatening injuries.

Hatstat was flown to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center with serious injuries. He was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated. He was released and scheduled to appear in Goffstown District Court on Jan. 11.
