Two local men charged with robbery

GOFFSTOWN - Justin Beaudin, 19, and Joshua Spain, 20, both of Goffstown, were arrested Tuesday after they turned themselves in for theft of a $600 bracelet from Susan's Jewelers at 679 Mast Road.

Police said that on Monday morning, a man assaulted a clerk at the store who tried to stop him from getting away.

A second man, who was in the store at the same time, held the door open so the thief could escape. Both suspects then ran into a wooded area behind the store.

Beaudin was charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit theft, both felonies. Spain was arrested on felony charges of conspiracy to commit theft and criminal liability for the conduct of another.

They were being held on $5,000 cash/surety bail in the Valley Street jail in Manchester pending arraignment Wednesday in Goffstown District Court.

The stolen bracelet was recovered.
