Teen Struck By Car In Goffstown Crosswalk
Police: Speed, Alcohol Not Likely Factors In Crash

GOFFSTOWN - A 74-year-old driver struck a teenager Monday afternoon in Goffstown, police said.

Goffstown police officers were called to South Mast Road near Wallace Road at about 2:15 p.m., where the victim was in a crosswalk when she was struck.

She was taken to Elliot Hospital with minor injuries. Police said they do not believe speed or alcohol were factors in the incident.

Officers said they have talked to a number of witnesses as they continue to investigate.

"We received several 911 calls about it, and as we were on scene, several people stopped to talk to us to tell us they had seen the accident. So, we're talking about five to 10 people that may have seen the accident. So we want to make sure we talk to everyone to make sure everything is documented properly," Goffstown police Sgt. Pierre Pouliot said.

No charges were filed by Monday night.
