Vote Collis Adams for selectman

To the Editor:

At Town meeting on March 8th I will be voting for Collis Adams for Board of Selectmen, and I hope you will join me in doing so. Collis Adams has long shown his love and support for this town in his activities. In youth baseball he served on the Board of Goffstown Junior Baseball as Umpire-in Chief. He has been on the Conservation Commission for 15 years and is a past chairman. His education, knowledge and experience as administrator at DES Wetlands Bureau benefits the Conservation Commission and our town tremendously.

The $2,000,000 budget he has to manage prepares him as Selectman. He has been on the Planning Board for 10 years. As a recording secretary to both those boards, I have seen, both, his love and respect for Goffstown shine through in his comments, questions and votes. He has also been chairman of the committee that formed the Village Commercial District and he was a member of the Goffstown Master Plan Committee. He has demonstrated that he is a man of intelligence, common sense, integrity and respectability. As a Selectman, Collis would be approachable, listen to the people, and do what is in the best interest of the Town.

That is the kind of person we want on our Board of Selectmen.  A vote for Collis Adams is a vote to take our town in the right direction.
