Lockwood Knew of "Steep Slopes" in September
Nevertheless Continued to Claim Glen Lake Site Was "Fairly Level"

GOFFSTOWN, NH  -  The Goffstown Board of Selectmen, in a September 30, 2004 letter, notified School Superintendent Darrell Lockwood that the proposed Glen Lake kindergarten site was in close proximity to PSNH power lines, and consisted of "steep slopes".

In response to a request by Lockwood, the BOS listed 7 town-owned parcels of 10 acres or more.  The letter, seen below, cited the PSNH lines and steep slopes of Map 5, Lot 14.  Note that the DPW Property (Map 5, Lot 24) was also on the list.  Nevertheless, Lockwood continued to publicly claim the site was "fairly level", and repeated this very claim in a letter to the State Department of Environmental Services.
